Which 4x4s have a low range?

Of the 59 models we track, 24 publish a low-range ratio in the documents we hold: the Jeep Gladiator (4:1), the Jeep Wrangler (4:1), the Ford Bronco (3.06:1), the Ford Ranger (3.06:1), the Nissan Armada (2.769:1), the Nissan Frontier (2.717:1), the Nissan Navara (2.717:1), the Nissan Titan (2.717:1), the Nissan Patrol (2.679:1), the Ford F-150 (2.64:1), the Ford Super Duty (2.64:1), the Ram 1500 (2.64:1), the Toyota Sequoia (2.64:1), the Toyota Tundra (2.64:1), the Nissan Xterra (2.625:1), the Toyota 4Runner (2.57:1), the Toyota Land Cruiser (2.57:1), the Toyota Tacoma (2.57:1), the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (2.566:1), the Mitsubishi Triton (2.566:1), the Toyota FJ Cruiser (2.566:1), the INEOS Grenadier (2.5:1), the Isuzu D-Max (2.482:1) and the Mazda BT-50 (2.482:1). The rest don’t print the ratio in those documents, which isn’t the same as not having one.

The Ford Maverick, The Honda Pilot, The Honda Ridgeline, The Subaru Crosstrek, The Toyota Highlander and The Toyota RAV4 are AWD with no low range at all: their makers list it as not applicable.

Which has the lowest low-range gearing?

The Jeep Gladiator and the Jeep Wrangler, at 4:1 each (2026 Gladiator Rubicon and 2026 Wrangler Rubicon 2-door 2.0L turbo automatic): in 4L the transfer case turns the driveshafts once for every 4 turns coming out of the transmission, on top of first gear and the axle ratio. AWD vs 4WD works out the whole crawl ratio on a real truck.
