04 / FAQ

Questions people ask

Which 2020 Titan configuration tows the most?

The S and SV King Cab 6.5 ft bed 4x2, at 9,370 lb.

What is the max tongue weight of the 2020 Nissan Titan?

Up to 937 lb for the S and SV King Cab 6.5 ft bed 4x2, as Nissan prints it. Tongue weight is the trailer’s downward push on the hitch; it counts against payload.

Has the Nissan Titan’s towing capacity changed by year?

Highest rating by model year: 2024, 9,290 lb; 2023, 9,320 lb; 2022, 9,320 lb; 2021, up to 9,310 lb; 2020, up to 9,370 lb; 2019, up to 9,450 lb.

What is the GVWR of the 2020 Nissan Titan?

7,100–7,300 lb by configuration; the most is 7,300 lb, for the S, SV and PRO-4X King Cab 6.5 ft bed 4x4. GVWR is the most the vehicle may weigh with its people, cargo and the trailer’s tongue weight aboard.

These are Nissan’s published ratings, not a weighbridge. Your own vehicle’s GVWR and axle ratings are on its certification label, and only a scale tells you what your loaded rig weighs. Found a figure that doesn’t match the document? Tell us.
